Hey, folks! Don’t want you to forget about the upcoming shows with Burnt Sugar and Tricky Dilemma at TheMMAC… but I do want you to know the FWNR is getting some love… the show is now on TAINTRADIO.ORG every Thursday from 12noon-2pm and repeated on Sunday evenings from 10pm-12midnight!

On another musical note, I just saw Yousou N’Dour perform at BAM after viewing the documentary film “I Bring What I Love” a film about his struggle in releasing “Egypt” his latest release featuring sacred music of Islam and a collaboration with musicians from Cairo. The music, the story and the film are beautiful and enlightening. Yousou was in great form and gave an uplifting performance. See the movie when you can… it gets released this week in New York.
With this month starting off with such a powerful injection of music… I’m gonna’ do a Friday Night Funk Special to set off this weekend, right here at the regular post.
